Past Trades & Craft Fair
Step back 100 years and meet the makers of the past
Does history and how people lived and worked 100 or more years ago fascinate you!
Join us at the Museum's October Rally weekend to explore the daily lives and incredible skills of 19th-century artisans. Witness craftspeople revive forgotten traditions, from blacksmithing, wool spinning, leather craft to traditional woodwork. Wander through the recreated period streetscape and unlock the secrets of our heritage in the display sheds. Get up close to intriguing machinery of daily life from days gone by, including vintage printing presses, horse vehicles, and rustic farming gear and marvel at the working displays.
